Position Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Dams & Waterfront Group. This is a full-time position with locations in Blue Bell, PA; NYC, Syracuse, NY; Arlington, VA; Richmond, VA; and Princeton, NJ.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate dams, hydraulic structures, waterfront structures, and heavy civil works.
• Conduct inspections and field activities at various project sites.
• Develop reports, design concepts, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering; PE license or on track for licensure.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural design, including concrete, steel, and earth structures.
• Knowledge of national codes and standards.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as Excel, CAD, and analysis programs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hydraulic structures and dam safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with software like STAAD PRO, GT STRUDL, and MATLAB.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
