Quigg Engineering Inc. (QEI) in Boise, Idaho, seeks an experienced Structural Project Engineer to lead structural design and project management for transportation-related structures.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a Civil Engineering degree with a structural emphasis, and PE licensure or licensure in progress. The role offers a hybrid work model, salary range from $80k to $130k, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related work experience, preferably with bridge design and transportation structures.
• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis; MS preferred.
• Idaho PE license preferred; Illinois PE and SE licenses preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office, MicroStation and structural analysis software.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with IDOT and ISTHA design standards and analysis desired.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager or Lead Engineer on projects under the direction of the Structures Department head.
• Utilize current technology and engineering software on projects.
• Take a proactive role in business development activities.
• Commit to quality and continuous improvement.
• Develop junior structure staff.

Salary Range: $80-$130K
