Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support a large industrial construction project in Lebanon, IN. This role focuses on field execution, IWP development, and coordination with project management, field leadership, controls, and subcontractors.

You will manage drawings, RFIs, and field documentation, track labor and progress, and help onboard personnel while coordinating across multiple contracts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Field/Project/Construction Engineer role
• Industrial construction experience is required
• Experience creating/maintaining Installation Work Packages (IWPs)
• Experience with RFI generation and field reporting

Insight Global is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support a large industrial construction project in Lebanon, IN. This individual will play a critical role in field execution, project coordination, and Installation Work Package (IWP) development while acting as a liaison between project management, field leadership, project controls, and subcontractors.

Day-to-Day:

• Develop and maintain Installation Work Packages (IWPs) for field execution
• Coordinate with project management, project controls, field supervision, engineering, and subcontractors
• Manage drawings, revisions, specifications, and construction documentation
• Create and track RFIs
• Support daily pull-planning meetings and field coordination efforts
• Track labor hours, production quantities, and project progress
• Maintain daily reports, timesheets, and field documentation
• Support onboarding of project personnel
• Assist with subcontractor management and field issue resolution
• Track additional scope work and support change management documentation

Location: Lebanon, IN (Onsite)Duration: Long-Term ProjectStart: ASAPSchedule: 60 hrs/week (Mon-Fri + Saturday, 10-hour days)Per Diem: $175/day

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or Construction Engineer role
• Strong industrial construction experience (absolute requirement)
• Direct experience creating, implementing, and maintaining Installation Work Packages (IWPs)
• Experience supporting structural steel and heavy industrial construction projects
• Experience with RFI generation, document control, progress tracking, and field reporting
• Large-scale manufacturing, data center, power, chemical, semiconductor, or industrial facility experience
• Strong pull-planning and construction planning experience
• Experience supporting multiple contracts and change management efforts
• Previous experience with self-perform contractors
