Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Structural Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in steel connection design to join our team in support of a new project in New York. This role has been created specifically to support this partnership, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to play a key role from the ground up. In this role, you will serve as the PE of record for all steel connection design activities, ensuring that calculations, shop drawings, and supporting documentation meet the highest standards of accuracy and code compliance. You will act as a key technical liaison among the Engineer of Record (EOR), client, general contractor, fabricator, design subcontractor, and detailers, helping to keep the project moving smoothly from design through construction. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in steel connection design, excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced project environment. We value individuals who communicate effectively, take initiative, and can navigate complex coordination across multiple stakeholders. Experience reviewing Tekla models, resolving RFIs, and supporting fabrication and construction teams with practical solutions will be key to success in this role.
