Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager SE to lead the execution of complex structural engineering projects from design through delivery in the Los Angeles area. This role blends technical leadership with client-facing responsibilities, mentoring engineers and BIM staff, coordinating with architects and contractors, and ensuring on-time, on-budget performance.

The ideal candidate has SE licensure, 7+ years’ experience, and a track record of managing steel and concrete systems on seismic California

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience with building design focus.
• Strong background in steel and concrete structural systems.
• SE license is required.
• Proven experience managing projects and leading teams.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience with seismic design and California codes preferred.
• Exposure to DSA or HCAI/OSHPD projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and coordination across multiple projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction.
• Oversee and mentor teams of engineers and BIM/modeling staff.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors.
• Ensure successful project execution while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
• Participate in construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.
