Aerotek in Canton, OH is seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our team on multiple shifts. You will weld structural steel, aluminum, and stainless using MIG, read blueprints, and handle fabrications in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

The role requires 2+ years of MIG welding experience, the ability to read tape measures to 1/16 inch, and the willingness to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. Physical and safety requirements apply, with competitive pay and potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience on aluminum, stainless, and/or structural steel.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and tape measures to 1/16 inch.
• Experience with TIG (GTAW) and SMAW is advantageous; forklift experience is beneficial.
• Previous experience in job shops is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel, aluminum, and stainless materials (7–20 gauge).
• Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures accurately.
• Use hand and power tools to fit and fabricate products.
• Lift materials weighing 50–75 lbs. occasionally to place and adjust for welding.
• Operate cranes to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Ensure quality welds and adhere to safety protocols.
