Job summary

Aerotek in Toledo, OH is seeking an Aluminum MIG Welder for production of aluminum bulkheads. You will weld per specifications, read blueprints, and contribute to fast-paced manufacturing efforts in a hands-on fabrication role.

First shift with overtime on Saturdays; pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits. This contract-to-hire position is onsite in Toledo, OH and offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with aluminum MIG welding in a production setting.
• Ability to read welding symbols and blueprints accurately.
• Adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform production MIG welding on aluminum bulkheads per specifications and quality standards.
• Meet daily production targets during training and after training completion.
• Prepare bulkheads for welding using grinders, brake presses and shears as needed.
• Read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints for accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Safely use hand and power tools during fabrication and preparation tasks.
• Assist with fitting, positioning and securing components before welding.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; store and maintain tools and equipment.
• Participate in weld testing to demonstrate skill level and maintain quality.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet daily output goals.
