Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in the United States is seeking a Structural Mechanics Consultant to bridge our advanced simulation solutions with customers worldwide. You will deliver high-impact consulting, develop novel methodologies, and help clients achieve their engineering goals.

You will educate and mentor customers, validate enhancement requests, and troubleshoot complex simulations while exploring new product features and multi-physics workflows; occasional travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering related to structural mechanics with 4–8 years of industry experience (or a PhD with 4 years).
• Advanced knowledge of FEM/FEA techniques and nonlinear structural/solid mechanics under static and dynamic loads (mechanical, thermal, and fluid interactions).
• Proven experience with FEA software such as Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, Dyna and CAD tools like CATIA/SolidWorks.
• Coding skills in Python or C++ for simulation automation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; fluent English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.

• Deliver expert consulting: execute advanced simulations, custom extensions, and methodologies for complex needs.
• Educate and mentor customers through high-level training sessions.
• Drive product excellence by assessing performance, validating requests, and troubleshooting simulations.
• Support business growth by identifying technical opportunities during customer interactions.
• Continuously learn new product features, multi-physics workflows, and industry practices.
• Leverage AI to increase productivity and efficiency.
