Job summary

Dassault Systemes in the United States is seeking a Structural Mechanics Consultant to act as a technical bridge between our simulation solutions and customers worldwide. You will deliver high-impact consulting and help clients achieve engineering goals.

Responsibilities include executing advanced simulations, mentoring customers, validating enhancements, and exploring new product features, while occasionally traveling to customer sites to support engagements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's degree in an engineering discipline related to structural mechanics with 4-8 years of industry experience (or a PhD with 4 years of experience).
• Advanced knowledge of FEM and FEA techniques, nonlinear structural and solid mechanics under static and dynamic loads (mechanical, thermal, and fluid interactions).
• Proven experience with FEA software (Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, Dyna) and CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks).
• Practical coding skills in Python or C++ for automation.
• Exceptional presentation skills; comfortable explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Written and oral fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
• Experience in multi-physics simulations and specialized analyses is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, Isight, Tosca, fe-safe, or Wave6.

Responsibilities

• Educate & Mentor: conduct high-level training and mentoring sessions for customers with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Drive Product Excellence: assess product performance, validate customer enhancement requests, and troubleshoot complex simulation errors.
• Support Business Growth: identify technical opportunities to expand our business footprint during customer interactions.
• Continuous Learning: continuously master and apply new product features, multi-physics technologies, and industry workflows.
