Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking skilled Ironworker / Structural Welders to join our construction team. The successful candidate will weld, fit, and install structural steel for industrial and commercial projects, while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant experience. OSHA and pre-employment drug testing are standard, with overtime and per diem opportunities based on project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ironworker, Structural Welder, or related craft.
• Demonstrated experience in structural steel erection and welding.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel components as required.
• Erect structural steel, platforms, pipe racks, stair towers, handrails, and miscellaneous steel.
• Perform SMAW, and FCAW welding processes in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Rig, signal, and assist crane operations during steel erection activities.
• Align and bolt up structural steel members using templates, levels, and precision measuring tools.
• Install grating, ladders, handrails, supports, and other structural components.
• Inspect welds and connections to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures, permit requirements, and site-specific policies.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, craft professionals, and project teams to meet project schedules.
