Job summary

East & Westbrook Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Structural Ironworker to independently install girders and columns, fabricate and assemble iron and steel, and ensure proper placement per blueprints and instructions.

The role involves rigging, welding, and working in both fabrication shops and field sites. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of structural iron work experience, proficiency in Stick Welding, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in Stick Welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and instructions.
• Willingness to abide by all E&W safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and use rigging to hoist material into place.
• Cut, weld, bolt, or shape pieces together.
• Install columns, beams, platforms, stairs, handrails, grating, decking, structures, etc.
• Dismantle steel structures when needed.
• Demos steel structures when needed.
• Operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, etc.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
