HDR in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Structural Intern/Co-Op to join our Building Engineering Services team. You will work with talented staff, supporting facilities-related structures across markets like Water, Healthcare, and Data Centers.

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design of facility-related structures for markets including Water/Wastewater, Healthcare, TMT, Civic, Municipal, Industrial, Data Centers, and Federal.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary design team through the project life cycle.
• Support development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, and review shop drawings.
• Gain real-world experience on HDR projects.
• Connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring programs.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Perform assignments under supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed.
