Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural Intern/Co-Op in our Building Engineering Services group in Raleigh, NC. You will assist in design of facilities structures across multiple markets and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team through planning, development of documents, and construction administration.

Preferred candidates are enrolled in a structural engineering program, with some completed coursework, strong problem-solving, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design of facilities related structures in support of multiple markets.
• Coordinate with a multidiscipline design team through the project life cycle.
• Develop construction drawings, specifications and calculations; review shop drawings.
• Gain real-world experience on exciting HDR projects.
• Engage with mentoring programs for young professionals.
