HDR is seeking a part-time Structural Intern for the Building Engineering Services group in our Raleigh, NC office. You will support design and analysis of facilities-related structures across markets, collaborate with a multidiscipline team, and assist with drawings, specifications, and calculations under supervision.

This internship provides real-world experience, mentoring from company leaders, and exposure to HDR's growth in energy efficiency and resilient design.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsabilités

• Assist with design of facilities related structures across markets
• Support development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations
• Work with multidisciplinary design team throughout the life cycle of projects
• Gain real-world experience and mentoring through company leaders and programs
• Perform assignments under supervision of a professional or Project Manager
