Job summary

Intertek in the United States is seeking an experienced Structural Integrity Engineer to support ongoing projects across energy assets, including brownfield modifications, revamps, and life extension programs. You will evaluate existing facilities for degradation, verify load capacity, and provide defensible recommendations aligned with international codes and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience as Structural Integrity Engineer.
• Experience with structural analysis software for assessment-level calculations.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes, API 579/ASME integrity standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural integrity assessments for non-pressurized elements such as pipe racks, platforms, supports and foundations.
• Evaluate corrosion-related section loss, deformation, vibration, and fatigue issues.
• Conduct load evaluations (dead, live, thermal, wind, seismic, equipment loads) for existing structures.
• Assess adequacy for revamp scopes, equipment replacement, and tie-ins.
• Prepare assessment reports and engineering justifications for repair, reinforcement or replacement.
