Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (mandatory).
• Professional registration preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Solid understanding of structural behavior and working knowledge of finite‑element analysis software (SAP2000, RISA3D, or STAAD).
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting/BIM software.
• Strong verbal and written communication, excellent documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel for field work and to enter secure facilities.
• Demonstrated focus on safety in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to structural failure mechanisms and evaluate distressed structures.
• Determine root causes, decide when repair versus replacement, and design constructible, durable, and safe repairs for live nuclear or industrial facilities.
• Collaborate directly with construction teams rather than merely handing off drawings.
• Support field work, traveling locally and beyond, and enter security‑controlled facilities such as nuclear and industrial plants.
• Advance toward business leadership or technical leadership pathways within the company.
