Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. in Houston is seeking a Fabrication Lead to direct the fabrication and assembly of pipe products, overseeing a team and coordinating multiple work orders. This role emphasizes safety, quality and timely delivery in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.

You will train staff on policy changes, read blueprints, develop team skills, and ensure all workers complete required training to maintain high standards of performance.

Qualifications

• Two years of pipe or structural fabrication experience.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow product specifications.
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices (HSE).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate pipes to required customizations.
• Manage all Work Orders associated with fabrication.
• Supervise work team in planning and execution of fabrication.
• Plan resource requirements based on Work Orders and production plan.
• Foster teamwork within the department.
• Track, assigns, and monitors work orders.
• Ensure safety and quality of material movement.
• Enforce safe practices and HSE programs including Lock-out Tag-out.
• Train employees on safety changes and policies.
• Develop skills and abilities of team members.
• Ensure department training completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by TAS.
