Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers invites motivated civil engineering students to join our Special Projects Group in Long Beach for a summer internship. You will support a structural engineer with design calculations, plan production, reviews, and cost estimates, and participate in site visits with strict safety adherence.

The role offers exposure to diverse projects across civil, structural, industrial, and waterfront infrastructure, with a focus on West Coast work and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering.
• Willingness to work on a variety of projects.
• Concrete, steel, and timber coursework.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project team members and clients.

Responsibilities
