Job summary

Axiom Consultants, a Ruekert & Mielke company, is seeking a Structural Student Intern to apply academic knowledge to real projects across commercial, municipal, and institutional sectors. You will assist with design, analysis, and project support while learning from industry experts in a collaborative setting.

You will help with structural design and analysis, CAD drawings, load calculations, and field data collection, under supervision, benefiting from mentorship and a culture focused on growth

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil or Structural Engineering program.
• Basic understanding of structural principles and engineering standards.
• Exposure to Revit or similar design tools is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural design and analysis for diverse projects.
• Develop CAD drawings, plans, and technical documentation under supervision.
• Perform load calculations and assist with code compliance reviews.
• Participate in field visits, inspections, and data collection.
• Work closely with experienced project engineers to ensure timely deliverables.
• Support day-to-day project tasks in a team-oriented environment.

Goals & Responsibilities

This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
