This posting is for Summer 2027 New Graduate opportunities. IMEG is hiring a Structural Engineering New Graduate in Vancouver, WA. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow your expertise from day one. You will work closely with experienced engineers and consultants to support structural systems analysis, design, and development of documents. You will contribute across the full project life cycle, support work within project budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help meet project goals and client expectations. This team supports commercial structural work across the Pacific Northwest with strong seismic retrofit, resilience, and utility-related expertise, contributing to sustainable design goals including SE2050.

This structural team has a highly visible seismic retrofit and utility specialty. The team supports Pacific Northwest resilience and seismic structural work with heavy exposure to public infrastructure and utility equipment qualification. Seismic rehabilitation for schools, fire stations, and police facilities. Utility and power equipment qualification, especially transformers, reactors, and substations. Recent work includes Clark Public Utilities Operations Center New Data Room, Utility Company, and Redmond Fire Station 404 Seismic Rehabilitation.
$71,000-$76,000 per year
The range listed above represents the base pay IMEG reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position in the work location identified above at the time of posting. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
