IMEG in Idaho Falls, ID is hiring a Summer 2027 New Graduate in Structural Engineering to work with experienced engineers and clients on hands-on design, analysis, and project execution under mentorship.

This entry-level role offers exposure to structural systems for industrial, manufacturing and MEP markets, with opportunities to grow expertise from day one, in a full-time in-office setting and a culture of employee ownership.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural or architectural engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn BIM software and standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Basic knowledge of structural design concepts across materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings.
• Use engineering software to prepare designs, specs, and calculations per codes.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and project requirements.
• Support project execution within budget and schedule constraints.
• Contribute to documentation and construction administration tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
