Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineering Manager (Team Lead) based in Denver, CO. This senior role combines technical leadership with people management, project delivery accountability, and practice development within Buildings + Places.

You will lead a team of structural engineers across commercial, aviation, federal, industrial, technology, and adaptive reuse markets on projects ranging from $5M to $500M.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience; licensure preferred.
• Colorado PE license or ability to obtain via comity is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural discipline on projects, ensuring quality and adherence to codes.
• Perform advanced structural analyses and review drawings, specs, and reports.
• Mentor engineers and supervise teams of 2–6 staff, planning workload and growth.
• Collaborate with clients, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and support local practice development.
