Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer in Atlanta to support a range of projects including federal and commercial facilities. You will utilize BIM with Revit to produce production drawings and run 3D analyses to generate design calculations and reports.

Collaboration with CAD techs and cross-disciplinary teams is essential. The role emphasizes field data collection, coordination with architects and MEP, and ensuring compliance with building codes and client requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Structures concentration and 4+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience with structural analysis and design software RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, ETABS, SAFE, RISA.
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
EIT credential; ability to obtain PE license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Carry out tasks for the analysis and design of building structures under supervision.
Prepare design calculations for structural members across materials (steel, concrete, masonry, wood).
Create structural models using RAM Elements and other software.
Produce drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
Perform construction administration duties and RFI responses.
