Job summary

BSI Engineering seeks an experienced Structural Engineering Manager to lead the Structural team, overseeing steel, concrete, masonry, and FRP projects for industrial facilities. The role emphasizes technical leadership and people management.

This position requires a PE license and 7–10 years of related experience, with a focus on client engagement, innovative solutions, and maintaining design excellence. Hybrid work includes 3 days in Mason, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• PE license (required).
• 7–10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading people and projects.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and structural systems.
• Strong knowledge of design standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI 318, AISC).
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in Mason, Ohio office; up to 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of structural engineers and designers.
• Provide technical leadership for design and analysis of steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and FRP systems for industrial facilities.
• Balance technical quality with project schedules and budgets.
• Mentor engineers and develop talent; engage with clients and partners.
• Review, approve, and seal deliverables ensuring quality and compliance.
