Job summary

WSP USA's Bridge and Structure team in Baltimore is seeking a structural engineering intern for a 12-week summer program starting May 17, 2027. You will work closely with senior staff on real projects to develop technical and professional skills.

This internship requires an enrolled Civil Engineering student with strong communication and teamwork abilities, and a commitment to safe, ethical practice while contributing to design calculations, field work, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil/Structural Engineering program.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Strong interest in Structural Engineering and desire to develop skills with WSP projects.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support project research, field work, and documentation.
• Help prepare design plans and cost estimates.
• Contribute to collection and maintenance of project records.
• Complete assigned training and follow company policies.
