Job summary

WSP USA's Philadelphia Structures Team is seeking a Full-Time In-Person Structural Engineering Intern to work at our 1700 Market Street office. This temporary position targets undergrad or graduate students enrolled in Civil or Architectural Engineering programs.

The internship runs for 12 weeks starting May 17, 2027, with tasks including supporting design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls; producing calculations and cost estimates; and learning through mentorship within the Developing

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Civil or Architectural Engineering undergraduate or graduate program.
• Anticipated graduation date May 2028 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in designing bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
• Prepare design calculations and cost estimates; support final design plans.
• Complete assigned tasks and adhere to safety policies.
