Job summary

Foth in Mehoopany, PA is offering a Structural Engineering Intern position for Summer 2027, working at a client site to support the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of industrial structural systems.

You will develop CAD drawings using 2D/3D packages, assist with software and drawing database validation, and gain hands‑on experience under a lead engineer while pursuing an ABET‑accredited civil engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Previous experience with and/or coursework involving 2D/3D CAD software
• Previous experience with and/or coursework involving the theory of and/or designing of concrete or steel structures

As a Structural Engineering Intern in our Mehoopany, PA office, you’ll work directly at one of Foth’s client locations, supporting the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of structural systems for industrial facilities. This Summer 2027 opportunity will expose you to industry tools and practices while giving you opportunities to solve real engineering challenges.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply structural design andengineering fundamentals
• Perform tasks under the supervision of a lead engineer
• Develop detailed structuraldrawings using 2D and 3D CADpackages

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
