Job summary

Richard Adams Engineers & Consultants (RAE) is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our Richmond Heights, MO team onsite. You will assist the structural group with preliminary design, structural calculations, and coordination with project stakeholders to find practical solutions.

Eligibility includes enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Structural or Civil Engineering with a 3.0 GPA, the ability to work 40 hours per week, and familiarity with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
• Internship or Co-op experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing preliminary and structural building design for projects.
• Help to produce structural calculations for construction documents.
• Coordinate with project team members to find creative solutions.
