Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Missoula, Montana hires a Structural Engineering Intern II to gain real-world experience on exciting projects within our Building Engineering Services Group.

You will work with mentors and engineers to apply standard engineering techniques and contribute to design challenges. The role requires current enrollment in an engineering program, strong attention to detail, good communication, and a commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Local candidate preferred and able to report to Missoula, MT.

In the role of Structural Engineering Intern II, we'll count on you to:

• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 3 years completed toward a structural engineering degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Must have interned for HDR for 1 year
• Local candidate preferred
• Must be able to report to Missoula, MT

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Attention to detail
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
