Job summary

HDR, Inc. is hiring a Bridge Engineering Intern in Missoula, Montana.

You will gain hands-on experience on transportation projects, working under the supervision of a professional or Project Manager, and engaging with mentoring programs designed for new graduates. The role emphasizes applying standard engineering techniques, attention to detail, and strong communication skills while contributing to HDR’s employee-owned culture.

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.

  • Gain real-world experience on exciting projects.
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Bridge Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 3 years completed toward a structural engineering degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • pursuing a masters degree is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Local candidates preferred
  • Must be able to report to Missoula, MT
