Fishbeck is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Farmington Hills, MI. You will assist the structural team with design and analysis, site visits, and collaboration with architects and contractors to verify design compliance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills; eager to learn and take on challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and analyzing structural components and systems.
• Help prepare detailed drawings, specifications and engineering reports.
• Participate in site visits to observe construction and verify design compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Use CAD software and engineering tools to support design development.
• Join project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
