Job summary

As a Structural Engineering Intern at Stratus, you will support engineers and designers working on the analysis, design, detailing, assessment, and rehabilitation of building and infrastructure systems.

You will gain hands-on exposure to structural materials, calculations, modeling tools, construction documents, field conditions, multidisciplinary coordination, and project delivery while contributing to active assignments with guidance from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Completion of relevant coursework in statics, mechanics of materials, structural analysis, or design.
• Basic understanding of structural systems and engineering calculations.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or structural analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural calculations, models, drawings, details, reports, and other project documentation.
• Support the analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and related structural systems.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and coordination with design and construction teams.
