Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support engineers and designers on building and infrastructure projects. You will gain hands-on exposure to calculations, modeling tools, and construction documents under guidance from experienced professionals.

You will assist with calculations, analyze various structural systems, and participate in meetings, site visits, and multidisciplinary coordination to help deliver project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Completion of relevant coursework in statics, mechanics of materials, structural analysis, or design.
• Basic understanding of structural systems and engineering calculations.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or structural analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural calculations, models, drawings, details, reports, and other project documentation.
• Support the analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and related structural systems.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and coordination with design and construction teams.
