Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking an Engineering Intern to provide general engineering support in Austin, TX.

The intern will assist with structural analyses, load calculations, and preparation of Construction Documents under supervision, including field visits and BIM work in Revit. The role requires enrollment in an accredited engineering program with a structural emphasis and coursework in structural analysis and design.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited engineering program with a structural emphasis.
• Completed coursework in Structural Analysis and steel or concrete design.
• Demonstrates foundational engineering principles and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Review construction submittals for structural elements.
• Calculate structural loads (wind, seismic, gravity) per Building Codes.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for beams, columns, diaphragms and frames.
• Attend jobsite visits and gather field information.
• Work with building information models using Revit.
• Assist with general design tasks and maintain design standards.
