Job summary

EwingCole in Baltimore is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. This full-time internship offers hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm.

You will use AutoCAD and Revit to design and document structural systems under the guidance of Structural Project Engineers, contribute to plans and details, and review submittals as part of the team. Applicants must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering program

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited BS or MS in Civil Engineering with Structural Concentration or Architectural Engineering.
• Technical knowledge of engineering principles and their application to structural design and analysis.
• Familiarity with building codes and structural design codes.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD and Revit to produce structural construction documents.
• Apply structural software for design and analysis under guidance.
• Review submittals as part of project teams.
• Develop structural sections and details for drawings.
• Perform other duties as required.
