Job summary

EwingCole in Baltimore invites a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You’ll use AutoCAD, Revit and other software to design and document structural systems under senior engineers.

This internship targets students enrolled in ABET-accredited Civil/Architectural Engineering programs with a structural focus, familiar with codes, and proficient in Microsoft Office. On-site role with mentorship and hands-on project experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ABET program pursuing a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Concentration or Architectural Engineering
• Technical knowledge of engineering principles and their application to the design and analysis of structural systems
• Familiarity with building codes and material design codes as they relate to structural engineering
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to produce structural construction documents.
• Utilize structural software for design and analysis tasks with the guidance of Structural Project Engineers.
• Review submittals.
• Develop structural sections and details.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
