Job summary

EwingCole, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in our Philadelphia office. You'll use AutoCAD, Revit and related software to design and document structural systems under the guidance of Structural Project Engineers.

The internship targets ABET-accredited Civil or Architectural Engineering students, offering hands-on experience with codes, detailing and submittals in a multidisciplinary firm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ABET program pursuing a BS or MS in Civil Engineering with Structural Concentration or Architectural Engineering.
• Technical knowledge of engineering principles and their application to structural design and analysis.
• Familiarity with building codes and material design codes related to structural engineering.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to produce structural construction documents.
• Support design and analysis tasks under guidance of Structural Project Engineers.
• Review submittals and develop structural sections and details.
• Perform other duties as required.
