Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering
• At least a rising Junior
• Knowledge of bridge design practices through work experience, internships or college coursework experience
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Office Suite. - Previous experience with structural engineering software is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis and maintenance of structural systems including bridges and other infrastructure projects
• Work with a multidisciplinary team on projects focusing on structural design and analysis of bridges
• Prepare plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision of experienced engineers
• Contribute to engineering drawings, specifications and reports to document project details and requirements
• Assist in evaluating structures and creating structural models using CAD software
