Job summary

FSB Architects + Engineers in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced Director of Structural Engineering to lead the department and drive strategic growth. The role focuses on people leadership, project delivery, and ensuring high-quality structural design across multiple markets.

You will oversee staffing, accountability, and performance while collaborating with architecture, engineering, and market leadership to improve processes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Active PE license with ability to obtain Oklahoma registration within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering managers and department leaders.
• Oversee staffing, workload forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project performance—scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Drive profitability, utilization, backlog, and staffing levels."
• Represent the department in firm leadership and align resources with strategic goals.
• Provide technical oversight for complex structural engineering issues and project coordination.
