This individual will oversee a team of engineers and designers, providing technical leadership, project management, and client engagement. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership and business development skills.**Key Responsibilities** **Technical Leadership:*** Provide oversight and technical guidance for the design and analysis of structural systems using Civil 3D (or similar design software).* Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for steel, concrete, and masonry structures.* Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with codes and standards.**Team Management:*** Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and designers.* Manage workloads, prioritize tasks, and promote a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.**Project Management:*** Lead structural design projects from concept through completion.* Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules; monitor progress and performance.* Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.**Client Relations & Business Development:*** Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project partners.* Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and delivery excellence.* Lead business development activities, including proposal writing, presentations, and networking.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).* Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license a plus.* Minimum 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.* Proven experience in structural design for steel, concrete, and masonry structures within civil infrastructure or related sectors.* Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or comparable modeling/design software.* Strong project management, client relationship, and business development skills.**Compensation*** This position offers a salary range of $120,000-140,000 per year along with performance bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and holiday pay.* The listed salary range reflects the potential compensation for this role.
