Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) seeks a motivated student for a full-time co-op from January through July/August, with a focus on aerospace structural analysis. You'll work with a team of stress engineers to analyze cargo handling systems, perform CAD-driven tasks, and build documentation for certification.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration, and exposure to ANSYS as a preferred tool, with eligibility for relocation and a strong benefits package in a US-based onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Catia or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred).
• Coursework in Statics and Mechanics of Materials.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook).

Relocation Eligibility

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
