gpac, a well-established Texas structural engineering consulting firm, is hiring a Structural Engineer to design commercial, institutional, and multifamily buildings. You will work on a wide range of projects and report to senior engineers and principals, with opportunities for technical depth and progression into leadership roles.

Responsibilities include analyzing and designing structural systems with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood; preparing calculations, drawings, and specifications;

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building structural design experience at a consulting firm.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7.
• Familiarity with Revit for structural modeling and coordination.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and design structural systems in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications for building projects
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors throughout design and construction
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during construction
• Do site observations and write field reports
• Support project schedules, budgets, and quality control reviews

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Master's degree preferred

Texas PE license or Texas EIT
