Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Structural Engineer to support complex tool install projects for semiconductor facilities. You will design and integrate support systems for process equipment, subfab racks, and cleanroom modifications, ensuring loads, anchors, seismic, and constructability requirements are met.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop design packages from concept through construction, review vendor data, and contribute to field investigations, QA/QC, and coordination to deliver safe,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
• 1 to 3 years of structural engineering experience, preferably supporting tool install, industrial, semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Knowledge of structural design principles, load paths, connection design, and seismic concepts.
• Ability to perform structural calculations and develop practical support solutions for equipment and facility interface conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for tool installation support systems, including frames, platforms, supports, anchors, bracing, and related modifications.
• Develop structural calculations and design packages for gravity, lateral, seismic, vibration, and equipment loads.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, electrical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated structural solutions.
• Prepare and review drawings, details, specifications, and models from concept through construction.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and coordination sessions to resolve interface conflicts.
