Job summary

SSOE Group's Tool Install division seeks a Structural Designer to create and optimize design packages for semiconductor tools and AMHS. You will bridge facility architecture with tool installation requirements, delivering precise, install-ready layouts and templates.

Join a multi-discipline team and contribute to AutoCAD and Revit work, field measurements, and on-site observations. The role emphasizes efficiency, codes, and standards while supporting rapid design changes in a fast-paced fab

Qualifications

1–2+ years as a designer/drafter using AutoCAD or Revit for engineering design
High school or associate degree with focus on architectural/engineering design or drafting
Experience in industrial design projects is a plus
High efficiency in AutoCAD
Experience with Revit (Structural design) is a strong plus
Can go onsite for field measurements and observations
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000/year depending on location, education, depth of relevant experience, and any specialized licensure/certifications.

Responsibilities

Interpret vendor documents and develop equipment layouts using AutoCAD
Develop templates and 3D models in AutoCAD and Revit for BIM coordination
Create AutoCAD templates, blocks and layers for semiconductor facilities
Stay current with Revit, BIM workflows and emerging design technologies
Apply discipline-specific design standards, codes and best practices
Coordinate with project managers, leads and other disciplines; provide on-site observations when needed
