Job summary

Engineering Design Services LLC (EDS) is an engineering consulting firm with a Florida presence seeking Structural Engineers to join its Orlando office. The role focuses on developing, designing, and executing tailored structural solutions for a diverse client base, including themed entertainment and commercial projects.

EDS-Florida emphasizes collaboration, client relationship growth, and delivering high-quality engineering documents while meeting codes and site conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience (minimum).
• Structural Engineering Degree Required.
• PE License (strongly preferred).
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• 2D and 3D CAD programs (Revit preferred).
• Experience in commercial space or themed entertainment industries.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States with need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Own comprehensive structural analysis and design for a range of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.
• Evaluate existing structures for repair needs and provide repair design & construction documents.
• Prepare and review design calculations, models and construction documents.
• Prepare and present technical reports to internal teams and clients.
• Engineering and analysis of structural supports and foundations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate structural elements into project plans.
• Visit sites to perform structural assessments.
