Job summary

KBR supports U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and bases in Turkey, delivering program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation services under a five-year base with three one-year options.

The role covers database and design management, facility assessments, space optimization, and coordination with AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC, NATO, and DLA to ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with 3 years of structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture from an accredited school.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Security Engineering UFC 4-010-01 training for antiterrorism in building design.
• English reading/writing/verbal at Level III.
• Class B driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NexGenIT or successor databases for project tracking.
• Lead design management for contracts including IDIQ, MACC, and service contracts.
• Manage design programs for facility and infrastructure projects.
• Provide structural assessments and design solutions for deficiencies.
• Develop short, medium, and long-term plans for installation complexes.
• Prepare contracting packages and coordinate with engineers on multi-discipline projects.
• Coordinate with AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC, NATO, and DLA for agency projects.
• Conduct project acceptance inspections and closeout documentation.
• Act as liaison for projects with AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC, NATO, DLA.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction through procedures and tech.
