As Director of Civil Engineering, you will lead engineering teams, define standards, oversee design and construction, and align operations with strategic goals. Requires Bachelor's in engineering/architecture and 10–12 years of experience; PE/RA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture from ABET-accredited college or university, or approved equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA).
• DoD installation-level working experience.
• Ten years of experience in engineering design, construction, maintenance, and planning with at least five years supervising.

Responsibilities

• Study, design, specification and services of transportation systems (road, rail, airport, seaport), bridges, infrastructure, drainage, water/wastewater, and tunnels.
• Under broad direction, supervise and lead a group of engineers.
• Set technical standards and procedures for engineers and designers.
• Conduct performance management including appraisals and counseling; assist in hiring and assignment of new personnel.
• Responsible for a measurable asset such as assigned staff and budget.
• Provide required training to maintain a proficient workforce and ensure compliance on CE inspections.
• Submit data for annual awards submissions.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
