Job summary

Collabera is seeking a structural engineer to collaborate with senior engineers on steel-structure projects. You will design and draft steel components using Autodesk Inventor and work directly with customers to interpret requirements and deliver solid design solutions.

You must hold a PE license, possess a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and have 2+ years of structural experience. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and steel structures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, customers, and project teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project priorities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior and professional engineers on structural engineering projects.
• Design and draft steel structures using engineering and design tools such as Autodesk Inventor.
• Work directly with customers to understand project requirements and support design solutions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, drawings, and technical deliverables.
• Track and report project progress to internal teams, engineers, and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and customer requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and development opportunities.
