Job Description: Contract Structural Engineer (Senior) - Remote Work

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and be proficient in STADD, STRUDL, and ANSYS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of complex structural systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform structural design and analysis of complex structures
2. Prepare and review construction documents
3. Provide technical support to project managers and architects
4. Collaborate with other engineers and consultants to develop and implement solutions

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Advanced Degree preferred)
2. Professional Registration (PE) desired
3. 10+ years of experience in structural engineering related to new construction and/or retrofit of power facilities or similar heavy industrial facilities
4. Detailed knowledge of engineering design principles, competent in structural steel and concrete design, and proficiency with structural codes, standards, and industry methodologies
5. Proficiency in STADD/STRUDL, PCA Column/Mats, ANSYS, MathCAD, Excel, and AutoCAD
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
