Job summary

Addison Group in Seattle, WA is seeking a Structural Engineer - Project Manager to lead complex building projects from concept through construction, coordinating design teams, budgets, and schedules.

This role will oversee engineering calculations, prepare contracts, review shop drawings, and maintain strong client relationships, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with BIM designers to deliver safe, code-compliant structures.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of structural project management experience and 4+ years of structural design engineering experience.
  • ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree; PE license required.
  • Experience designing and managing projects with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
  • Experience with building evaluations, renovations, and seismic retrofits.
  • Skilled in seismic and gravity framing systems across building types/materials.
  • Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM Designers.
  • Desire to provide excellent service and build long-term client relationships.
  • Strong communication with clients and internal project teams.
  • Master’s degree and SE license preferred.

Location: Seattle, WA

Salary: $140-150k per year

Onsite: 5 days per week

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

  • Skilled in designing all categories of seismic and gravity framing systems across building types and materials
  • Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM Designers
  • Desire to provide excellent service and build long-term client relationships
  • Strong communication skills with clients and internal project teams
  • Master’s degree and SE license preferred
